Marcum LLP Names Jeff Pera Managing Partner for Northern California
New York City, NY – Marcum LLP today announced that Jeff Pera, CPA, joined the Firm as managing partner for Northern California, effective July 2. Marcum is a national accounting and advisory firm with offices in major business centers throughout the U.S., as well as overseas.
Mr. Pera is responsible for overseeing all services to Marcum Northern California clients as well as growing the Firm’s footprint in the region. Marcum offices in the area currently include San Francisco and San Jose.
“Jeff Pera will be instrumental in growing Marcum’s service portfolio and regional presence to create additional value for the Firm’s Northern California clients,” said Jeffrey M. Weiner, Marcum’s chairman and chief executive officer.

Mr. Pera has 25 years of tax and business services experience, with particular expertise in consumer and industrial products. Prior to joining Marcum, he was a managing partner in the Greater Bay area at a national accounting firm. He also has served as a managing director at a wealth advisory firm and was partner-in-charge of the middle-market practice at a “Big Four” accounting firm.
Mr. Pera holds a Master of Science degree in Taxation, cum laude, from Golden State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Diego State University. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPAs) and the California Society of CPAs. He has been published in numerous trade and business journals and is a frequent presenter at industry and professional conferences on various technical topics. He currently serves on the board of the San Francisco chapter of Financial Executives International.
