Richard Fuld, Jr. to Deliver Keynote Address at 2015 Marcum MicroCap Conference
New York City, NY – Richard S. Fuld, Jr., Chairman of Matrix Advisors and former Chairman of Lehman Brothers, will deliver the keynote address at the 2015 Marcum MicroCap Conference, taking place May 27-28 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. This will be Mr. Fuld’s first major public address since leaving Lehman Brothers in 2008. The annual investor event is presented by Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory services firm.
Mr. Fuld will discuss How Emerging Growth Companies Can Succeed in Today’s Capital Markets: Perspectives from My Journey. His talking points will include the strategy employed by Lehman Brothers to become one of the world’s leading investment banks, aspects of the financial crisis, the current capital market environment, and the keys to success for today’s growth companies choosing to access the capital markets.
Prior to founding Matrix Advisors in April 2009, Mr. Fuld was chairman of the Board of Directors of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Lehman Brothers Inc. from 1994 to 2008. He also served as chief executive officer of the Company from 1993–2008. Mr. Fuld served on the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York from 2005 until 2008, and was also a member of the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum.
