Michael D’Addio and Gail D’Addio Join Marcum LLP
New Haven, CT – Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm, announced today that Michael F. D’Addio, J.D., and Gail J. D’Addio, CPA, have joined the Firm’s New England tax practice, effectively immediately. Mr. D’Addio joins as a Principal and Mrs. D’Addio joins as a Director, based in Marcum’s New Haven office.
Michael F. D’Addio
Michael D’Addio is one of the region’s leading tax attorneys. He has more than 35 years as a specialist in state and federal tax compliance and planning, and has extensive experience representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service, United States Tax Court, and other state and regulatory agencies. He is a frequent lecturer on a range of federal and state tax issues before client and business groups.
Mr. D’Addio holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Yale University and earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut Law School. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar and admitted to practice in the Connecticut courts and before the United States Tax Court.
Gail J. D’Addio
Gail D’Addio has more than 30 years of experience as an accounting and business advisor to closely-held businesses, with a specialty in consolidated and multistate tax returns. She has worked extensively with Subchapter C and S corporations, general and limited partnerships, limited liability companies, individuals, not-for-profit organizations, and trusts and estates.
Ms. D’Addio received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Bridgeport and her Masters in Taxation from the University of New Haven. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts.
