Marcum LLP Promotes New Partners
New York City, NY – Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory services firm, today announced new partners from within the Firm’s ranks. Effective immediately, the newly promoted partners include Tony Arrow (San Jose, CA); Edward F. Bechold, CPA (New York City); Kurt Koegl, CPA (New York City); Monte Singh, CPA (Melville, NY); Juliet Song (San Jose); and Jonathan C. Tomazic, CPA (New York City).

About the New Partners
Tony Arrow is an Assurance Services partner in Marcum’s San Jose, CA, office. He has over 22 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and management consulting and tax compliance. His clients include family-owned businesses, law firms, manufacturing companies, transportation and distribution companies, automotive dealerships and construction contractors. He also has expertise in not-for-profit organizations, including private schools, employee benefit plans, private foundations, social services organizations and others.
Edward F. Bechold, CPA, is a New York City partner in the Assurance Services department and a member of the SEC Practice and Transaction Services groups. Mr. Bechold has more than 15 years’ experience providing audit and business advisory services to publicly traded companies and closely held businesses. His expertise includes private and SEC audit engagements; financial reporting; acquisitions, reverse mergers, private placements and public offerings; and complex accounting issues for start-ups and emerging growth companies.
Kurt R. Koegl, CPA, is a tax partner in Marcum’s Real Estate Services group, based in the New York City office. He has 15 years of tax accounting experience serving residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed use, infrastructure, real estate-backed financial instruments and construction clients. Mr. Koegl has experience with public and private REITs, traditional real estate funds, private equity, fund of funds, venture capital, Fortune 500 public companies, inbound and outbound foreign investments, domestic, international, state and local tax compliance, reporting, planning and structuring.
Monte Singh, CPA, is an audit partner in Marcum’s Melville, Long Island, NY office, responsible for the planning and supervision of accounting, audit and due diligence for closely held companies. In addition, he is a member of the Firm’s SEC Practice Group, providing audit and quarterly reviews to publicly traded entities, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Singh has deep experience in mergers and acquisitions and accounting and auditing, with expertise in financial statement preparation, compliance and planning, budgeting and forecasting, and litigation support.
Juliet Song, CPA, is a tax partner with more than 15 years of experience assisting both for-profit and not-for-profit entities with their accounting, tax and consulting needs. Based in the Firm’s San Jose, CA, office, Ms. Song works with high net worth individuals and closely held businesses in a variety of industries, including real estate, stock option compensation, construction and professional services. In addition, she has extensive experience assisting clients with their estate planning and trust accounting needs.
Jonathan C. Tomazic, CPA, is a partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services Division and a member of the SEC Practice and Transaction Services groups in New York City. Mr. Tomazic has more than 15 years’ experience providing assurance and business advisory services to publicly traded companies and closely held businesses, with special expertise in business combinations, financial instruments, reverse mergers and SEC reporting. As a member of the Firm’s Quality Control and Professional Standards Department, he consults on various accounting and regulatory matters for clients and other professionals in the Firm to ensure the highest professional standards.
