Marcum LLP Names New South Florida Advisory Services Directors
New York City, NY — The Florida offices of Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm, has promoted four as Directors in the Firm’s South Florida Advisory Services Division.
The new Advisory Services Directors include:
Ft. Lauderdale
Robert Burton – Conducts forensic investigations and prepares complex damage models and financial forecasts. He has more than 15 years of experience in tracing and apportionment of assets, bankruptcy and insolvency, fraud and , proof of lost profits and economic damages, personal injury damages, and matrimonial matters.
John L. Heller – Specializes in forensic accounting, litigation support and management duties for bankruptcy, insolvency, and litigation clients including numerous debtors, receivers, and panel trustees. Heller was named a 2013 Top CPA in Litigation Support by South Florida Legal Guide.
Susan Smith – A Board member of the Turnaround Management Association/Florida Chapter, Ms. Smith specializes in turnaround, financial restructuring and bankruptcy advisory services to companies and creditors in manufacturing, financial and professional services, business services and real estate investment and development industries.
Orlando
Sharmila Khanorkar – A 2013 Top CPA in Litigation Support, Ms. Khanorkar has more than 15 years of experience in litigation support, bankruptcy advisory services, business valuations and economic damages computations, and general accounting and tax compliance matters.
All were previously Senior Managers.
