Marcum LLP Chairman & CEO Jeffrey Weiner Named a New York Icon by Long Island Business News
New York City, NY – Jeffrey M. Weiner, chairman and chief executive officer of Marcum LLP, was honored with a 2017 New York Icon Award from Long Island Business News today. The elite award recognizes leaders in business and the arts for their years of experience and achievement, and ability to lead, motivate and teach others.
Mr. Weiner is nationally recognized for developing Marcum from a single-office Long Island accounting firm of 20 employees to a full-service accounting and advisory firm ranked among the largest in the United States. Under his leadership since 1990, today Marcum has 1600 associates, with headquarters in New York City and offices throughout the U.S., as well as Grand Cayman, China, and Ireland.
