Stephen Darkwa is a director in the Firm’s Assurance Services Division, he has over 18 years of public accounting experience, including 11 years at Big Four firm, working with both private and public companies. Stephen brings significant financial accounting and reporting, internal controls, and project and change management experience to his client engagements.

Stephen leads external financial statement audits and quarterly reviews to ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley, SEC regulations, PCAOB, AICPA and IFRS standards. He is experienced in complex accounting transactions and works with clients on acquisitions, asset impairment, initial public offerings, and debt and equity offerings.

Stephen works with clients to transform audit execution methods and processes to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness. He works on multinational company clients and effectively leads the planning, coordination and execution of the audit of foreign subsidiaries for the group audit.
