Melissa Hasenmayer is a partner in the Tax & Business Services division of Marcum’s Philadelphia office. She brings experience in serving private and publicly traded clients in the commercial real estate industry. She specializes in corporate, partnership, and REIT compliance, with advisory experience in key areas of real estate taxation, including deal structuring, like kind exchanges, and 704(c) models.

From the start of her career, Melissa has advised real estate clients with a broad range of operations, including office, retail, storage, residential, and student housing. Prior to joining Marcum, she worked for a global consulting firm, focusing on tiered structures containing public and private REITs, as well as a portfolio of family limited partnerships.
