About Maria
Maria Gonzalez is an assurance partner in Marcum’s Real Estate Group. She has more than 18 years of experience working primarily with clients in the real estate industry, including owners, developers, managers of privately held properties, and brokerage firms.
Maria is involved in all aspects of audit, review, and compilation engagements and leads the creation of reports that reflect GAAP, Income Tax, and Fair Value standards. Additionally, she performs audits using agreed-upon procedures and total project cost methods, as required by clients, and has experience completing audits subject to strict HUD and/or PILOT requirements.
Maria was featured in Crain’s 2021 Notable in Accounting & Consulting list.
