Kimberly Hodor Maxwell is an assurance partner with experience providing auditing, accounting, tax, and consulting services to a broad range of clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Kim focuses primarily in the nonprofit sector. Her experience includes compliance and internal control analysis, accounting policy and procedures, design and integration of accounting systems, and governmental audits under OMB’s Uniform Guidance. She has an in-depth knowledge of generally accepted auditing standards (GAAP) as well as single audit compliance.

Kim is also involved in the Firm’s Managed Accounting Services Group, adding high-level value-added support to clients as their outsourced director of finance.

As part of her professional consulting experience, Kim works with nonprofit entities as well as businesses to prepare budgets, cash flow forecasts, and business plans. She customizes reports based on management’s needs and reviews organizations’ internal controls to implement procedures that increase efficiencies and safeguard assets.
