About Jyoti

Jyoti Patel is a director in Marcum’s New York City Assurance Services department and is a member of the Real Estate Group. She is a certified public accountant with more than 30 years of experience and leads complex audit engagements for privately held clients in the construction, real estate, and professional services industries.

Jyoti also shares her insight and experience internally as a mentor to the Firm’s up-and-coming professionals.

Prior to joining the Firm through a merger in 2022, Jyoti was a director with a top 25 national accounting and consulting firm, where she primarily provided assurance services to privately held clients. She is fluent in Hindi and two other Indian languages.
