About Joseph

Joseph DeSimone is a partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services group. He provides sophisticated auditing, accounting, mergers & acquisitions and general business advisory services to publicly-traded and closely-held companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and construction. Joseph’s experience includes serving as the audit partner for one of the country’s oldest international freight-forwarding companies, as well as a publicly-traded international manufacturing company.

As a Certified Valuation Analyst, his experience extends to the Firm’s Advisory Services group representing buyers of businesses. Joseph has an extensive background valuing companies for gift and estate tax purposes, succession planning, and mergers & acquisitions. In addition to working with clients, Joseph oversees the office’s Human Resources Development program involving recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating the needs of all professional staff.

Joseph has more than 25 years of experience and regularly conducts continuing education seminars for law firms and industry organizations.
