About Janet
Janet (Jan) Butters is a partner in Marcum’s Tax & Business Services group.
Jan, who has more than 35 years of professional accounting experience, specializes in supervising income and transfer tax engagements, including flow-through tax structures, private foundations, trusts, and international or multi-state entities. She also assists businesses with the tax requirements of their initial registrations and maintains ongoing tax compliance and has extensive experience serving real estate professionals.
Prior to joining Marcum, Jan was a principal at E. Cohen and Company, CPAs, an award-winning, nationally ranked CPA firm, which merged into Marcum.
