Jim Thomas is a senior advisor in the Tax & Business Services Division. He works with a wide range of companies and has a knack for providing money-saving tax and operational ideas.

Jim conducts advisory services, business succession planning, practice transition, tax assistance including tax credit calculations, and a host of other services.

In 2007, Jim earned his Series 65 license as an Investment Advisor Representative as well as the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation awarded by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).

Prior to joining Marcum, Jim was co-founder and principal of BWTP P.C.
