About James
James Dawley is a director in the CFO-Led Services group in Boston within the Firm’s Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) practice. James has over 30 years of executive experience primarily in real estate investment and management, as well as construction as a Chief Financial Officer.
James has extensive knowledge of investment asset management, capital markets, real estate development and operations, technology, corporate finance, financial cash flow modeling, tax compliance and reporting, infrastructure of operations, and SEC reporting and compliance.
James joined Marcum in 2021.
Prior to Marcum, James was a COO of a privately held real estate investment company that develops and operates commercial properties in 14 states and which has a value over $2 billion. He was responsible and oversaw every aspect of the company including development, construction, legal, tenant coordination, leasing, property management, asset management, finance, accounting, and human resources.
