Mr. Caruso has extensive experience specializing in partnership taxation and consulting on complex partnership topics, including the principles of 704(c), capital account maintenance under 704(b), section 754 basis adjustments, and targeted capital income allocations. He is responsible for advising clients on a range of partnership tax matters and assisting with various forms of partnership mergers and acquisitions. His knowledge spans multiple industries, such as private equity, real estate, and industrial products.

Mr. Caruso is proficient in the Administrative Adjustment Request process and assists clients in filing amended partnership tax returns in compliance with the guidelines of the Bipartisan Budget Act.
