Marcum Gathers 100 Business Valuation and Litigation Support Professionals
On October 22, 2018, Marcum’s Advisory Services Group hosted a three-day Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Conference for more than 100 Marcum business valuation and litigation support professionals in New Haven, Connecticut. This annual event is designed for all areas of the Advisory Practice at all staff levels, from partner to entry-level analyst. As part of the Marcum University curriculum, the Firm’s professionals receive a minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education each year.
Among this year’s guest speakers, retired Judge Lynda Munro and Attorney Campbell D. Barrett of Pullman & Comley LLC presented a mock trial and discussion around expert testimony. Detective Mark Solomon of the Greenwich, Connecticut, Police Department explored current trends within the financial and cybercrime worlds with Marcum’s professionals.
