About Adam

Adam Clark is a partner in the Melville, New York, office and is the Leader of the Firm’s national Assurance Services Division. Adam oversees the quality of the accounting and auditing practice, monitors SEC, PCAOB and FASB developments, and is responsible for Firm policies and procedures. He is a member of the AICPA Center for Audit Quality’s Professional Practice Executive Committee.

Adam joined the Firm in 2017 and has more than 25 years of experience in accounting, auditing, internal controls, and regulatory oversight. He has developed considerable expertise encompassing SEC regulations, accounting, auditing, mergers and acquisitions, independence, and quality control. Adam has extensive experience in various industries and technical areas, including with foreign private issuers and IFRS.

Prior to joining the Firm, he was an Associate Director in the Division of Registration and Inspections at the PCAOB. Previously, he was at two “Big Four” public accounting firms and the aerospace division of a Fortune 100 company. Adam is a graduate of the University of Iowa where he received his BBA in Accounting.
