BOSTON, MA — Marcum LLP was one of 630 companies yesterday running and walking along the Boston Commons for 3.5 miles to celebrate corporate teamwork and camaraderie in the work place. Marcum contributed 16 participants to the sold out crowd of 12,000 contestants that filled Boston’s Back Bay.

The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge began in 1977 when 200 runners from 50 companies assembled in New York City in what was then called the Manufacturers Hanover Corporate Challenge. This 36th year tradition continues to grow and now takes place in 13 cities on five different continents. Charity is also a main aspect of the JPMorgan Chase & Co. Corporate Challenge, and in 2011 more than $600,000 was donated to charities and organizations in each of the host cities.
