Marcum LLP to Host ECOVIS International’s 2017 Americas Conference
New York City, NY – Marcum LLP, the exclusive U.S. member firm of ECOVIS International, a global accounting and advisory network, will host the organization’s 2017 Regional Partner Meeting of the Americas, to be held at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, from February 9-11.
The Miami meeting will be attended by firms from across ECOVIS’ Americas region, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. Firms from Europe and other ECOVIS regions are also expected to attend.
The agenda will include a focus on cyber-terrorism, a technical tax workshop covering the U.S. and Latin America, and a discussion of the post-election U.S. environment, as well as business development best practices.
Since joining ECOVIS in October 2016, Marcum has taken a leadership role in several capacities, including joining the network’s International Audit Task Force, International Tax Task Force, and global Supervisory Board. In addition to the Americas partner meeting next month, Marcum will also host the 2018 ECOVIS World Conference in New York City.
