Marcum LLP Is Top IPO Auditor in First Quarter 2019
New York City, NY – Marcum LLP was the top-ranked IPO auditor for the first quarter of 2019, according to Audit Analytics. Marcum completed more IPO audits than any other U.S. accounting firm and surpassed two of the Big Four firms in total capital raised by IPO clients.
Eight (20%) of the 40 IPOs occurring in the period ended March 31 were audited by Marcum. The transactions accounted for $896 million, or 11.5% of total capital raised by IPOs during the first quarter. This exceeded the combined total raised in IPOs audited by two of the Big Four and accounted for nearly a third (32%) of the capital raised by all non-Big Four transactions.
