Marcum LLP Adds Edward J. Reitmeyer as Philadelphia Tax Partner and Co-Lead of the Pennsylvania Real Estate Services Practice
New York City, NY – Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm, today announced that Edward J. Reitmeyer has joined the Firm as a Partner in its Philadelphia Tax & Business Services Department. A real estate tax expert, Mr. Reitmeyer will co-lead Marcum’s Real Estate Services Practice group in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Reitmeyer has over 25 years of public and private accounting experience in the real estate sector, providing integrated tax, transaction and advisory services to real estate owners, builders, lenders and users. He specializes in tax restructuring and compliance, asset management, and capital restructuring.
Previously, Mr. Reitmeyer was a Managing Director at a national CPA firm in Philadelphia. He also served as President of Wynnewood Financial Partners, LLC, a consulting firm serving real estate developers and investors, and as Chief Financial Officer at Wynnewood Development, Inc., a Bala Cynwyd-based real estate development firm.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and is a frequent lecturer on real estate accounting topics.
Mr. Reitmeyer received his Masters degree in Taxation from Villanova University and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from LaSalle University. He is a resident of the Chestnut Hill Section of Philadelphia.
